At CEDIA in Denver this month, AMX released three exciting new additions to the Modero Touch Panel line-up:

NXD-500i - 5" Modero® Wall/Flush Mount with Intercom
The NXD-500i is a 5” touch panel that is ultra thin and compact.  It measures only 2 inches deep, making it perfect for buildings with shallow architecture and where space is a premium. 

The NXD-500i can be powered over Ethernet and utilizes locking tabs for quick and easy installation.  It integrates a digital, full-duplex intercom for panel-to-panel communication or entry communications via the AMX Metreau Entry Communicator. Avail - Dec 08/ Jan 09


MVP-5100 - 5.2" Modero® ViewPoint® IR Touch Panel
The MVP-5100 offers one-way IR Communication and is ideal for single room control such as home theater, home office or hotel room.

Its built-in IR Communication can be very important in mission critical applications where 802.11b/g may not be permitted. Avail - Nov/Dec 2008


MVP-5150 - 5.2" Modero® ViewPoint® WiFi Touch Panel
The MVP-5150 extends the end users control to an entire home or office via it’s WiFi (802.11 b/g) capabilities.

The MVP-5150 works seamlessly with AMX’s popular Resource Management Suite and incorporates the highest wireless network security standards, including WEP, WPA, WPA2, EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS and PEAP. Avail - Nov/Dec 2008

The AMX Technology Seminars are free and open to the industry and will be held in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in late October, early November, 2008.

The seminars will showcase the latest products from AMX including the MVP-5100, MVP-5150 and the NXD-500i and will have a specific focus on applications and international projects which feature the AMX products & solutions.

The technology showcased in the live demonstrations will include Endeleo UDM-0808, Sip Communications (including MET-ECOM), RMS & Anterus, Solecis Switchers, Novara ControlPads, Octaire Matrix Switchers, Apple iPod & Virtual KeyPad integration, Vision2 and Inspired-2-Go.

NEW to the Technology Seminars
AMX Australia will also be holding a session called Introduction to AMX and the World of Control. This session is designed for those people who may be new to the Control Systems Industry or specifically new to AMX Products and Solutions. The session will be presented by AMX Australia National Sales Manager, Philip Langley and spaces are limited, so be quick to register your interest..

This new webtool, will simplify the way you now order Metreau KeyPad Buttons from AMX Australia, see below;

1. Visit www.amx.com/metreau
2. Select Metreau KeyPad type, colour, default buttons or create your own custom buttons.
3. Select ‘Print KeyPad’, print to PDF and save document.
4. Select ‘Print Part List’, print to PDF and save document.
5. Email both of these documents along with your Purchase Order to orders@amxaust.com.au

Please note: When ordering KeyPad Buttons, the part number is simply MET-BUTTON. eg) 13 x MET-BUTTON.

Track your RMA Status Online!!

Ever wanted a quick update on your RMA without having to pick-up the phone or type an email?  AMX Australia is pleased to announce that you can now track the progress of your RMA online at www.amxaust.com.au, simply follow the instructions below;

1. Visit www.amxaust.com.au
2. Click on [Members] and then click on [Log In]
3. Enter your email and password and click [Submit]
4. Click on [RMA Status] on the left Navigation Menu
5. Enter your RMA Number in the fields available and click [Search]
6. The status of your RMA should now appear
