The AMX Australia team is still celebrating a sensational CEDIA08 Expo!

In addition to our large presence at the show, AMX Australia held the fourth annual Consultant Executive Briefing (CEB) at Peppers Resort & Spa where over 20 key AV Consultants from across Australia shared ideas, market intelligence and received an insight into the future of AMX.

The HOTSPOT of the AMX Stand was on the Residential Pod where we partnered with EDMI to show how AMX NetLinx Controllers integrate with EDMI Smart Meters. The integration of AMX and EDMI allows the home/business owner to closely monitor their power usage and set-up various automated sequences eg) blinds, light device control to reduce this power usage and cost.

Overall CEDIA08 was a tremendous success and provided a great opportunity to showcase a number of exciting new products that will hit our Australian shores later this year;

Infocomm08 held in Vegas in June received record attendance with a staggering 34,600 attendees from 93 countries.

This year, a large delegation of AMX Australia staff attended Infocomm08 to cater for the overwhelming number of Australian dealers, consultants and end users who were headed to Vegas. 

Attendance records were exceeded everywhere, with our largest number of AMX Booth tours ever, record attendance at the AMX Party and our first ever exclusive AMX Australia & New Zealand event.

AMX Australia is set to experience further growth with a number of key appointments made to drive the AMX brand deeper and across more vertical markets.

We are please to welcome Jonathan Rutledge to the position of Consultant Alliance Group Manager and Phil Dunn to Tertiary Alliance Group Manager.  Jonathan and Phil are responsible for supporting and fostering new and existing business-to-business relationships with the consultant and tertiary community, respectively, in Australia and New Zealand.

AMX Australia is also excited to announce the appointment Philip Langley to the position of National Sales Manager.  Langley’s primary responsibility will be to lead the AMX Australia sales team to better service, support and strengthen our AMX Dealer Network and to ensure the continual growth of AMX Australia sales.
